We had a leak in our gas line so Jake had to emerge himself in fixing the problem :) Reminds me of a small child playing hide and seek.

We put in all the trim in the rooms that have flooring. Instead of dealing with the fumes and tough sanding of the wood putty, we opted for caulk!!!!! Just wipe it in and go over it with a damp rag...and tada easy breezy!!!!

We had to go with a trim that is more narrow and finished it out with with quarter round. Looks pretty good, if I may say so!! :)

Jake's office!

We have come a long way. We are getting to the point where we kind of walk around and wonder what we need to be doing. People continue to ask if I am excited or how Jake is feeling....... The only way I can answer this question is saying that of course we are excited. For me, my mind is going a million miles an hour thinking of what needs to be done next. So, excitement is hidden away behind a door that will open once our signatures hit paper that closes this deal. It is rather funny because I find myself express an uncontrollable amount of excitement when caulk is a better alternative then wood putty, or finding pre painted quarter round to match the floor.......I hope to continue to be excited about the small things that build up to create the big things. :)

It seems that many things are to come in the next thirty days.......
